BIKE BASSO DIAMANTE SRAM RIVAL AXS 53 (54,5 effective tt)

  • Groupset: SRAM Rival AXS
  • Wheelset: Vision TriMax 30 alloy wheelset with Continental GranPrix2000 tanned wall
  • Components: Ursus Alloy Handlebar, Basso Carbon Seatpost
  • Saddle: Shimano Pro Saddle

Made in Italy, it has been 22 years since the first Diamante was released. That means 22 years in which Diamante has gone through 8 evolutions to become what it is today: the most Basso bike of all.

The most long-running bike, this has been a process of constant and meticulous improvement, often working on invisible details, capable of combining innovation aimed at the future and the legacy of over 45 years of Basso.

Devotion to the slopes

Today Diamante confirms its vocation for climbs and descents. Careful engineering work has made it possible to further reduce the weight by over 200 grams, allowing the complete bike assembly to remain easily under the UCI weight limit (6.8 kg). A bicycle without an extra gram, designed to make each ride an exciting experience, an opportunity to challenge your limits.

Contemporary classic

A unique design, the result of extremely complex engineering, refined over the years detail by detail. A timeless aesthetic, capable of interpreting the contemporary. The search for the balance between lightness and stability, making the most of the characteristics of carefully hand-crafted carbon. The thickness of the tubes has been meticulously studied to give lightness and reactivity when climbing and stability when descending, even at high speeds.

Ride, Perfected

Stable, responsive, light, and playful. Diamante is a versatile road racing bike, designed to thrive in the most challenging ups and downs. A geometry that has been refined over the decades thanks to the kilometers traveled and the expertise in the manual processing of carbon, capable of achieving absolute performance through cutting-edge technological solutions. The result is an intense and engaging riding experience, ready to excite.

The golden rule of Basso engineering

Basso meticulously studies carbon to enhance its characteristics through its shape. In the areas where energy is generated and discharged – the bottom bracket and steering area -, the circular shape, in addition to reducing the thickness and weight of the tubes, gives greater torsional rigidity, so that all the pedaling energy translates into progression and riding precision. This solution allows to obtain greater lightness, rigidity and control, with the result of not losing power and acquiring stability.

Details

Notice the finer points of the Basso Diamante all meticulously designed with reason. This model uses the clean 3-bolt clamp system 3B seatpost which absorbs vibrations thanks to a rubber gusset surrounding the seatpost. The slender seat stays also add to increased comfort. The streamlined integration of the steerer and stem, mounted perfectly for aero advantage. But each adding elements of aesthetic quality, this is a bike that will certainly draw attention at the race track as much as the coffee shop.

Bike Fit

Every good bike fit starts with choosing the correct frame size for you. This will allow you to benefit best of the bike’s performance and comfort for an efficient riding position. For assurance of correct bikefit, the Chainsmith team have installed a complete IdMatch Bikefit lab. So all your riding needs are met under the one roof. delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
